An Act to Borrow a Sum of Money in England at a reduced rate of Interest, to cancel the Public Debt of this Province. Passed 6th March, 1830. 11 George IV – Chapter 19 1830 This Act authorizes the Receiver General of Upper Canada to allot 5,400 pounds per year for the payment of the interest and, eventually, the principal on a loan the provincial government hopes to obtain from England. An Act to Pension Charlotte Pomeroy, Widow of the late Timothy Conklin Pomeroy. Passed 6th March, 1830. 11 George IV – Chapter 18 1830 This Act provides for an annual pension of twenty pounds for Charlotte Pomeroy, whose husband was killed in the course of duty as a law enforcement officer. An Act to Repeal an Act passed in the Forty-ninth Year of His late Majesty's Reign, entitled, “An Act to Encourage the Destroying of Wolves in this Province,” and to make further provision for exterminating those destructive Animals. Passed 6th March, 1830. 11 George IV – Chapter 17 1830 This Act, with aim to encourage the residents of the province to help cull the wolf population, authorizes the payment of one pound per wolf killed, so long as sufficient proof of killing be provided.
