An Act to prevent the operation within this Province of an Act of Parliament made in England, in the Twenty-first year of the Reign of King James the First, entitled “An Act to prevent the destroying and, murthering of Bastard Children,” and to make other provisions for the prevention and punishment of Infanticide. Passed 23rd December, 1831. 2 William IV – Chapter 1 1832 This Act removes Upper Canada from the jurisdiction of a British law concerning the murdering of children born out of wedlock, and stipulates that such murder be tried as any other murder would be. An Act to make further Provision for completing the Kettle Creek Harbour in the District of London.
