An Act to revive and amend and to continue for a limited time two certain Acts therein mentioned relating to the Lachine Canal. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 23 1832 This Act revives, amends, and continues two Acts relating to the Lachine Canal, including the 1829 Act, “An Act to establish certain rates, tolls and duties on the Lachine Canal and to provide for the care and management of the said Canal,” and the 1830 Act, “An Act to authorize the expenditure of a certain sum of money and to grant certain powers to the Commissioners of the Lachine Canal,” for the purpose of providing for the maintenance of the Canal and to establish rates of tolls and duties . An Act to authorise a Loan to the President Directors and Company of the Port Hope Harbour and Wharf Company. Passed 28th January, 1832. 2 William IV – Chapter 23 1832 This Act authorizes the Upper Canadian government to borrow up to 2,000 pounds that it will provide as a loan in turn toward completing the wharf and harbour in Port Hope. An Act to make temporary provision for the instruction of the Deaf and Dumb and for other purposes relating to the same object. An Act to provide against the Importation and Spreading of Distempers in the Counties of Westmorland, Gloucester and Kent. An Act to repeal all the Laws now in force relating to Saint Andrews Church in the City of Saint John, and for incorporating certain Persons Pewholders of the said Church and of the several Churches erected or to be erected in this Province in Connexion with the Church of Scotland.
