  • Description
    This Act revives, amends, and continues two Acts relating to the Lachine Canal, including the 1829 Act, “An Act to establish certain rates, tolls and duties on the Lachine Canal and to provide for the care and management of the said Canal,” and the 1830 Act, “An Act to authorize the expenditure of a certain sum of money and to grant certain powers to the Commissioners of the Lachine Canal,” for the purpose of providing for the maintenance of the Canal and to establish rates of tolls and duties . These Acts are to remain in force until 1835.
