An Act to alter and extend the provisions of an Act, intituled “An Act to encourage the erection of a Passage Boat to be worked by Steam, for facilitating the communication between the City of Saint John and Fredericton,” and to relieve the persons named in the same Act from the penalty of a bond given by them to His Majesty in pursuance of the provisions of the same Act. An Act to raise a sum of Money, not exceeding Nine Thousand Pounds, by Lottery, for the purpose of Building a Bridge over the River Avon, at the Point of Rocks so called, between Windsor and Falmouth, in the County of Hants. 59 George III – Chapter 12 1812 This act details how money is to be raised by lottery, in order to build a bridge over the River Avon. An Act to authorise Jacques Morin, Junior, to build a Bridge over the Arm of St. Nicolas, in the County of Devon, to fix the Rates of Toll for passing thereon, and to provide Regulations for the said Bridge. (19th. May, 1812.) 52 George III Chapter 22 (S1) 1812 An act authorising Jacques Morin, Junior to build and collect a toll on a bridge crossing the Arm of St. Nicolas, in the County of Devon. Morin is granted the authority to take and use of the land required to build the bridge. Standards and stipulations for the bridge's construction and maintenance are outlined. The allowable tolls that can be charged are described, as well as those to be excepted from tolls.
