This act amends an 1816 act, chaging the route of the proposed road between Fredericton and Westmorland, and how much the supervisors of this highway will recieve as salary.
This Act continues a former act for allowing a duty to be placed on liquor licenses to be used to repair roads, which Act is to remain in force until 18 March 1818.
This Act establishes the Liverpool Bridge Company and gives the company the power to build a draw bridge over the Liverpool River. They are also permitted to collect tolls but are barred from exacting a fee for raising the draw bridge.
This act sets aside eight hundred pounds to build a library for the use of the Legislative assembly, and appoints commissioners to oversee the execution of the project.
This act authorises the advance of certain sums of money to commissioners throughout the province who are responsible for the building and maintenance of roads, in order to fund their projects.
This act creates a new district out of the western district of Niagara, the district of Gore, as it has become inconvenient for the residents of this area to travel to conduct their business. The district of Gore will therefore have its own district infrastructure.
