This act amends the original act which incorporated the City of Toronto and Lake Huron Rail-Road Company in order to allow the said company more time to complete their construction projects.
This act allows for York County officials to raise more funds to repair roads in Fredericton and creates new regulations for the hiring and work of Commissioners of Highways for the Parish of Fredericton.
This act consolidates several past acts regarding the enlargement and improvement of the port of Montreal. The act grants a sum of one hundred and sixteen thousand two hundred and seventy-five pounds, to be controlled by the commissioners who are in charge of the project. The commissioners are required to report all expenses once per year, and provisions concerning the borrowing and repayment of money for the project are specified. Tolls and rates to be charged on ships coming into harbour are also specified.
