Passed 9th March, 1804. 44 George III – Chapter 3 1804 This Act gave the Court of King's Bench the power to decide upon the fees permitted to various officers of the justice system, including Attorneys and Sheriffs. Previous legislation vesting this power elsewhere was deemed ill-suited to new circumstances in the province, and determined better to be replaced.
