An Act granting to His Majesty a Sum of Money to obtain Plans and Estimates of a Penitentiary to be Erected in this Province, and to appoint Commissioners for the same. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 29 1832 This Act continues two Acts relating to the collection of Revenue at inland ports in the Province and introduces further provisions for the same, including the 1829 "Act, An Act to regulate and establish the salaries and other emoluments of the officers employed in the collection of the Revenue at the several Inland Ports in this Province, and for other purposes," and the 1830 Act, “An Act to continue for a limited time an Act passed in the ninth year of His Majesty’s Reign, intuled, ‘An Act to regulate and establish the salaries and other emoluments of the officers employed in the collection of the Revenue at the several Inland Ports of this Province, and for other purposes,’ and to appropriate a certain sum of money for the purposes therein mentioned.” This Act is to remain in force until 1833. An Act to appropriate certain sums of money for establishing a Depot of Provisions near Cape Chat for the relief of shipwrecked persons and for other purposes. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 28 1832 This Act authorises the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, or person administering the government to advance, from time to time, a sum not exceeding two hundred pounds for the purpose of purchasing provisions to be deposited in a Depot to be established at the settlement at River Sainte Anne below Cap-Chat and in a like Depot to be established at the Light House on Pointe des Monts. The Act also provides sums to defray the salaries of the Keepers of the Depot at the River Saint-Anne and for several years and to reimburse certain sums expended, as listed. Passed 23th January, 1832. 2 William IV – Chapter 28 1832 This Act authorizes 3,000 pounds' worth of government money to be contributed toward the construction of a hospital in Kingston for the poor infirm. An Act to enable the Trustees for the building of the Parsonage House at Saint Michel de Vaudreuil, to recover the Parishioners as a contribution towards the expense thereof. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 27 1832 Under this Act, the Trustees appointed to superintend the construction of a Parsonage at the Parish of Saint Michel de Vaudreuil in the District of Montreal in 1817 are to be reimbursed for sums forwarded to them by the Parish's parishioners, as outlined in the 1816 Act by which construction was undertaken.
