  • Description
    This Act authorises the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, or person administering the government to advance, from time to time, a sum not exceeding two hundred pounds for the purpose of purchasing provisions to be deposited in a Depot to be established at the settlement at River Sainte Anne below Cap-Chat and in a like Depot to be established at the Light House on Pointe des Monts. The Act also provides sums to defray the salaries of the Keepers of the Depot at the River Saint-Anne and for several years and to reimburse certain sums expended, as listed. Further duties for the Keeper are described.
