An Act to provide for the permanent completion of the Welland Canal, and for other purposes herein mentioned. Passed 4th March, 1837. 7 William IV – Chapter 92 1837 This act amends the act which incorporates the Welland Canal company to allow the issuing and sale of more company stocks as a way for the company to repay various loans made to the company now that the canal project is complete.
