An Act for making a Rail-road from Lake Champlain to the River Saint Lawrence. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 58 1832 This Act makes provisions for the construction of a railroad between Lake Champlain and the River Saint Lawrence, opposite to the City of Montreal. The railroad's proprietors are listed and made a body politic and corporate by the name “The Company of Proprietors of the Champlain and Saint Lawrence Rail-road." An Act for the relief of the Contractors for the erection of the Bridge over the River Chaudière. (25th February, 1832.) 2 William IV Chapter 57 1832 Under this Act, François Normand and Edouard Normand, who were contracted to erect a bridge over the River Chaudière, are relieved of their obligation to repay a sum of three hundred and ninety-two pounds ten shillings that was paid to them, over and above the cost for having erected the said Bridge and for all extra work performed, and for all materials furnished by them. An Act to provide for the proof of the solemnization of Marriages and for the proof, of certain Baptisms and Burials in the Inferior District of Gaspé.
