An Act to revive an Act passed in the Fourth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William the Fourth (2nd Session) intituled “An Act to afford relief to Wives and Children deserted by their Husbands and Parents.” (Passed 26th April, 1841.) 4 Victoria Chapter 7 1841 This act re-enacts an act first passed in 1834, which makes public provisions available for children who have been abandoned by their parents, and wives and children who have been abandoned by their husbands.
