  • Description
    This act repeals all previous trade laws of Lower Canada regarding the trade and packaging of flour and pearl ash, and creates a new one to be applied to the entire province of United Canada. The new provincial law establishes rules for trade boards in Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto, as well as measures for appointing members of these boards, as well as procedures for appointing inspectors of flour and meal.
