Under this Act, three Commissioners are to be appointed to oversee an enlargement of the Harbour of Montreal, as directed. The Commissioners are authorised to borrow a total sum not exceeding ten thousand pounds for that purpose.
Under this Act, a sum of one thousand eight hundred and thirty pounds is to be advanced and paid to the agricultural societies in the Province’s districts as outlined for the encouragement of agriculture. The ways in which members of the Legislature and Clergy should be made members of these agricultural societies is explained.
This Act continues an Act passed in 1829, “An Act to provide for the appointment of Commissairee Enqueteurs for the District of Montreal, and other purposes relating to the Administration of Justice in the said District,” which shall remain in force until 1831.
This Act makes provisions for the establishment of a hospital in or near the City of Quebec that will receive and treat sick seamen and indigent sick persons. Directions for the construction and operation of the hospital are given.
This Act repeals certain parts of “An Act for the division of the Province of Lower Canada, for amending the Judicature thereof, and for repealing certain Laws therein mentioned,” as pertains to the Provincial Judge in the district of Trois-Rivières’s appointment and duties. Under this Act, the powers, jurisdiction, authority, duty, rank and pre-eminence of the said Provincial Judge shall be vested in one of the Justices of the Court of King’s Bench for the District of Three Rivers, who is to be called the resident Judge of the District of Three Rivers.
This Act applies a sum of five hundred and fifty pounds towards reimburse a sum advanced for repairs to the Court House in the City of Quebec and to continue the repairs.

This Act provides for the establishment of a temporary Fever Hospital outside the City of Quebec from “paupers” and people arriving on ships infected with typhus fever, yellow fever, scarlet fever, plague, small pox or measles. Provisions needed to supply the hospital and funds granted to hire a house to be used are outlined.
