As many fences and trees were destroyed by the Miramichi fire, this act allows for Northumberland County justices to create regulations for where and when livestock may graze so as to protect crops, and penalties for their violation.
This act repeals exisiting legislation on Saint John fire prevention, and creates new provisions for the city government to appoint fire fighters and their duties and rules governing them.
