An Act to authorize the Justices of the County of Northumberland, to regulate the Grazing and Depasturing of certain tracts of Land within that County. Passed the 7th of March, 1826. 7 George IV Chapter 10 1826 As many fences and trees were destroyed by the Miramichi fire, this act allows for Northumberland County justices to create regulations for where and when livestock may graze so as to protect crops, and penalties for their violation. An Act to authorize the Justices of the Peace for the County of Northumberland, to levy an assessment to pay off in County Debt. An Act for the better extinguishing of Fires that may happen within the City of Saint John, and to repeal all the Acts now in force relating to the same. An Act to authorize and empower the Magistrates of the County of Charlotte, to sell the County Gaol and Gaol Lot, in the Town of Saint Andrews, and to erect a more suitable Building in the said Town, in lieu thereof. Passed the 7th of March, 1826. 7 George IV Chapter 7 1826 This act allows for Charlotte County magistrates to sell the current court house and gaol property and use the money from the sale to erect a better county court house and jail.
