An Act for the preservation of Apple Trees in the Parish of Montreal. (25th March, 1805.) 45 George III Chapter 15 1805 An Act to prevent the Caterpillar Arpenteuse (looper caterpillar) from infesting apple trees within the Parish of Montreal by smearing infected trees with tar eight times per apple season. An Act to authorize Thomas Porteous, Esquire, to build a Bridge over a Branch of the River Ottowas, otherwise Des Prairies, from La Chenaye to the Island, called Bourdon; and another Bridge, from that Island to the Island of Montreal, to establish the Rates of Toll payable thereon, and for regulating the said Bridges. (25th March, 1805.) 45 George III Chapter 14 1805 An Act to allow Thomas Porteous of Terrebonne construct a toll bridge over the branch of Des Prairies separating La Chenaye in the Country of Leinster from the Island of Montreal, across Bourdon Island. (25th March, 1805) 45 George III Chapter 12 1805 This Act creates the positions of Master, Deputy Master, and Wardens of the Trinity House of Quebec to reside in Quebec City and Montreal, to improve the navigability of the St. Lawrence River by building light houses, beacons, and so on.
