An Act to repeal part of the Act therein mentioned, relative to the Printing and Distribution of the Provincial Statutes. 30th August, 1851. 14 & 15 Victoria – Chapter 81 1851 This is an amendment to a 1849 act, which changed the distribution of provincial statues, stating that only public acts will be distributed to the public in order to save the expense of printing and distributing all legislative acts. An Act to provide for the Discharge of Sureties for Public Officers in certain cases. 30th August, 1851. 14 & 15 Victoria – Chapter 80 1851 This is an amendment to an 1841 act called "An Act to regulate the taking of securities in all Offices in respect of which security ought to be given, and for avoiding the grant of all such Offices in the event of such security not being given within a time limited after the grant of such office," which makes strict rules regarding government officers who are in charge of public moneys, requiring them to register their own debts with the provincial clerks before taking on any roles which require them to disburse government funds.
