This act establishes a fund of four hundred pounds for the establishment of a school at Carbonear. The act also establishes a school board, and details the board's responsibilities.
This act establishes various school boards throughout the province in order to establish new school districts. The districts are given funds to establish new schools, as well as regulations within which to operate. Board members are nominated by the governor, and locations of the school boards are dictated by the act.
