An Act to raise by Loan a Sum of Money for the Rebuilding and Improvement of the Town of St. John’s. (Passed 23rd June, 1846.) 9 Victoria Chapter 1 (Session 2) 1846 This act makes provisions for obtaining a two hundred and fifty thousand pound loan for the rebuilding of the portion of St John's that had recently been destroyed by a fire.
