An Act further to continue for a limited time, an Act passed in the forty third year of His Majesty’s Reign, intituled, “An Act for establishing regulations respecting Aliens and certain Subjects of His Majesty who have resided in France, coming into this Province or residing therein.” (19th April, 1806.) 46 George III Chapter 5 1806 An Act to continue an Act passed in 1803, for a limited time, to monitor the entrance of "foreigners" into the province by ship. The act requires that ship commanders report the number of "foreigners" on board their vessel to Customs officials when they arrive at ports within the province. The Act grants authority to Justices of the Peace to jail and remove "Aliens" who remain within the province longer than the period allowed by the court. An Act to repeal an Ordinance made and passed in the twenty fifth year of His Majesty’s Reign, intituled, “An Ordinance to prevent the exportation of unmerchantable Flour and the false taring of Bread and Flour Casks,” to regulate the packing and inspection of Four and Indian Meal, and to provide for ascertaining the quality of Biscuit in future. (19th April, 1806.) 46 George III Chapter 4 1806 An Act to repeal a former ordinance regarding the exportation of flour and taring of bread and flour casks and to improve regulation of wheat, flour, Indian Meal [corn meal], and biscuits. The Act requires flour, wheat, and meal manufacturers to brand their casks, designate the quality of their product, and the appointment of inspectors at Trois-Rivières, Montreal, and Quebec.
