An Act to regulate the Common of the Parish of Saint Antoine of the River du Loup, in the County of Saint Maurice. (22d March, 1825.) 5 George IV – Chapter 34 1825 An Act to allow persons having rights to the Common of the Parish of Saint Antoine of Rivière-du-Loup to select a a Chairman and four Syndics to form a Body Politic and Corporate, under the name “The Chairman and Syndics of the Common of the Parish of Saint Antoine de la Rivière du Loup" that will be have the authority to regulate the Common. An Act to appropriate a sum of money towards promoting the improvement of the Road of Communication between Saint Joachim and the Bay Saint Paul. (22d. March, 1825.) 5 George IV – Chapter 28 1825 An Act advance a sum not exceeding five hundred pounds towards perfecting and maintaining the road of communication between Baie-Saint-Paul and Joachim. Under this Act, the first eighteen persons that settle and build homes on the said Road will be afforded a gratuity not exceeding twenty-five pounds currency. An Act to make further provision for the Salmon Fisheries in the Bay of Gaspé, and in certain parts of the County of Northumberland, and to repeal in part a certain Act therein-mentioned. (22d March, 1825.) 5 George IV – Chapter 15 1825 An Act to prohibit the inhabitants or persons in the Inferior District of Gaspé, and in the County of Northumberland east of the little River Malbaie to the Black River to set up nets to catch salmon or spear salmon in any of the rivers falling into the Bay of Gaspé, or into the River Saint Lawrence. Regulations are also put on the times of year that Indigenous peoples are allowed to hunt Salmon with spears, with the assistance of flambeaux, and a clause from a former Act that prohibited the use of any Caplin, or any Herring Spawn or Caplin Spawn, for the purposes of Manure is repealed. Plants, Statements, and Estimates are to be submitted in a competition, from which the best are to be chosen. An Act to appropriate certain Sums of Money towards the support of Hospitals, and for other charitable purposes therein-mentioned. (22d March, 1825.) 5 George IV – Chapter 12 1825 An Act to provide several sums of money to hospitals and charitable organizations in 1825, including the Religious Ladies of the General Hospital near Quebec, the General Hospital near Quebec, Religious Ladies of the General Hospital at Montreal, the Religious Ladies of the Hotel Dieu at Montreal, the Corporation of the General Hospital at Montreal, and several sums to support and repay expenses already dispensed in order to support Indigent Sick and Infirm Persons and Foundlings in the Districts of Quebec, Montreal, and Trois-Rivières.
