    An Act advance a sum not exceeding five hundred pounds towards perfecting and maintaining the road of communication between Baie-Saint-Paul and Joachim. Under this Act, the first eighteen persons that settle and build homes on the said Road will be afforded a gratuity not exceeding twenty-five pounds currency. Stipulations restricting who will be eligible for this gratuity are outlined.
