This act grants the colonial treasurer the permission to spend the amount of twenty thousand pounds raised from duties charged on imported goods, in order to start projects to improve the colony with various projects.
This act transfers the responsibility of fee collection from the High Sheriff to the colonial Treasurer. It also makes a sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds available annually to be paid to the high sheriff and his deputies as a salary.
