(14th April, 1808.) 48 George III Chapter 12 1808 An Act to authorise Eustache Nicolas Lambert Dumont, esq. to construct a toll bridge across the River Outaouais from the Îsle Jesus to the Island of Montreal. Toll rates and restrictions are outlined. The Act stipulates the amount of space to be allowed between pillars in the river to allow traffic through, and procedures if damage to the bridge should be incurred.
