An Act to authorise the Trustees of the Market Reserve in the Town of Niagara, to raise a sum of money for certain purposes therein-mentioned. An Act to increase the Capital Stock of the Cobourg Harbour Company, and to extend the period for completing the same. Passed 11th May, 1839. 2 Victoria – Chapter 42 1839 This act allows the Cobourg Harbour Company to increase their capital stocks to ten thousand pounds in order to gain them more funds with which to complete their project, and allows them more time for completion of the building of the habour at Cobourg. An Act to alter and amend an Act passed in the sixth year of the reign of His late Majesty King William the Fourth, entitled “An Act to incorporate sundry persons under the style and title of the President, Directors and Company, of the Gore Bank.” Passed 11th May, 1839. 2 Victoria – Chapter 41 1839 This act amends the act passed in 1836 incorporating the Gore Bank. An Act to Incorporate certain persons under the style and title of “The President, Directors and Company, of the Bayfield Harbour.” Passed 11th May, 1839. 2 Victoria – Chapter 39 1839 This act incorporates the Company of the Bayfield Harbour, authorising them to survey and acquire land in order to build a harbour and all associated structures on the waterfront at Bayfield.
