An Act for the establishment and regulation of a Penitentiary in Saint John's. (Passed 31st May, 1851.) 14 Victoria Chapter 8 1851 This act authorizes the raising of a loan, not exceeding seven thousand five hundred pounds, to build a penitentiary in St John's.
