An Act to raise a sum of Money, not exceeding Nine Thousand Pounds, by Lottery, for the purpose of Building a Bridge over the River Avon, at the Point of Rocks so called, between Windsor and Falmouth, in the County of Hants. 59 George III – Chapter 12 1812 This act details how money is to be raised by lottery, in order to build a bridge over the River Avon. An Act to repeal the duties imposed by an Act passed in the forty eighth year of His Majesty’s Reign, intituled, ‘‘An Act for repairing and ameliorating the ancient Castle of Saint Lewis,” and for applying a certain Sum of money to make good a like Sum issued and advanced in pursuance of an Address of the House of Assembly, and for other purposes therein mentioned. (19th May, 1812.) 52 George III Chapter 13 (S1) 1812 An act to repeal a former act from 1808 "An Act for repairing and ameliorating the ancient Castle of Saint Lewis," the Governor of the Province's residence. A fund of seven thousand pounds was created for this purpose under the 1808 act. The duties imposed by this act are repealed. An amount in the order of seven thousand, nine hundred and eighty pound, nineteen shillings and one penny farthing is to be paid from any unappropriated monies to make good on the expenses not covered by the seven thousand pounds originally allotted for the repairs, in addition to the five thousand and ninety one pounds, sixteen shillings and eleven pence, three farthings required to fulfill the original funds granted. An Act to authorise the justices of the Peace in the City and County of Saint John, in their General Sessions, to levy an additional Assessment for the purpose of finishing the Gaol of the said City and County, and to discharge the debt already contracted in adding to the said Gaol.
