DescriptionThis Act allows the Governor, Council, and Assembly, to borrow a sum not exceeding fifteen hundred pounds, over and above the sums collected under the 1763 Act, “An Act for suppressing unlicensed Houses, and granting to His Majesty a Duty on Persons hereafter to be licensed,” for making and repairing roads. The 1763 Act is to remain in force for an additional two years.
