This Act amends the 1825 Act, “An Act to repeal certain Acts therein mentioned, and to consolidate the Laws relating to the Election of Members to serve in the Assembly of this Province, and to the duty of Returning Officers, and for other purposes,” as pertains to where elections in the certain counties, as listed, will take place.
This Act lists several sums to be distributed to defray certain expences of the Civil Government, including costs incurred for postage and for services rendered.
This Act continues and amends the 1830 Act, “An Act to continue further for a limited time a certain Act passed in the third year of His Majesty’s Reign, intituled ‘An Act to erect certain Townships therein mentioned into an Inferior District, to be called the Inferior District of Saint Francis, and to establish Courts of Judicature therein, and to make further provision for the due Administration of Justice in the said Inferior District.'” The Act clarifies certain functions of the Provincial Court for the said district, and outlines fees to be charged for services rendered as listed.
