This act places all properties heretofore been set aside for use for defence shall remain vested in the Principal Officers of the British government charged with defence.
This act allows for the sale and lease of land reserved to Native peoples, with the proceeds from such sales to go towards the benefit of the said people, and creates new regulations to prevent encrosions upon their remaining land.
