This act creates new rules governing the jurisdiction and regulations governing Justices of the Peace in civil suits, as well as those for the defendents and officers involved in such cases.
This act prohibits any cases coming before the New Brunswick supreme court where the disputes are worth less than Twenty pounds, and amends the terms under which valid cases can be brought before the court.
This act amends an 1832 act for the incorporation of the Saint John Water Company prohibiting it from dealing in buillion and the taxation rate on its stock.
This act amends an 1810 act regulating the collection and payments of rents, and creates new rent fees to be awarded to officials charged with prosecuting disputes.
