This act clarifies the scope of the authority of a 1789 act concerning erecting churches in Saint John County and the powers of church officials to hold and sell church lands.
This act replaces previous militia legislation, and creates a new system governing militia regulation, command, mustering, and training, and for imposing penalties for violating any of the aforesaid.
