Legislation by Source Document: Acts of the General Assembly of His Majesty's Province of New Brunswick passed in the year 1794. Brookville, NB: Christopher Sower, 1794.
This act aims to preserve the banks of the Saint John River in certain parishes by prohibiting livestock from grazing these banks, establishes fines for owners who do not abide by these terms, and allows local Justices of the Peace to erect swing gates and water fences along the highway to prevent such grazing.
This act makes any local warrant issued by a Justice of the Peace apply provincially, ensuring that none can escape a warrant's authority by leaving the county or city it was issued in.
This act replaces the 1792 act and establishes new regulations for the command, organization, recruitment, mobilization, fines, and training days of the New Brunswick militia, both provincially and locally.
