An Act to render the Judges of the Court of King's Bench in this Province Independent of the Crown. Passed 6th March, 1834. 4 William IV – Chapter 2 1834 This act removes the judges of the court of the King's Bench from direct crown jurisdiction. However, judges are still appointed and removed by the Governor or Lieutenant-Governor. Judges who are removed have the right to appeal to the Privy Council. 4 William IV – Chapter 2
