This act allots various parcels of money for a number of purposes and to various individuals throughout the province, for infrastructure projects and in reimbursement for services rendered to the government.
This act incorporates the Dartmouth Turnpike Company. The company will take over a road construction project between Dartmouth and Gay's River, following the instructions included in the act.
A continuation of an amended 1759 act passed in 1809, which restricts the price that can be demanded by owners of trucks, carts, and other carriages and provides for a table of allowable rates to be drawn up.
A continuation of an act first passed in 1812, which defines how contractors and commissioners in charge of supervising the building of roads and road repairs are to disburse the funds allocated to them for road work, how to keep track of expenses and people paid and charged for various types of work, and how contracts for road work are to be agreed upon.
