  • Description
    This act imposes penalties for anyone who should try to claim goods they find on shore without being able to prove they are not from a shipwreck, or they do not own them. The act includes provisions for issuing warrants to search for concealed goods which may have been seized from the shore after a shipwreck in order to return them to their rightful owners.
