    This Act repeals and replaces the 1785 Act, “An Ordinance concerning Land Surveyor and the admeasurement of Lands.” This Act describes qualifications for becoming a land surveyor and the processes by which land surveyors may be appointed and their duties. This Act is to remain in force until 1840.
