This act continues the authority of highway commissioners in Halifax, Annapolis Royal, Windsor, Liverpool, Lunenburg, and Pictou, and details the methods to be used to replace them in case of death, removal or refusal to perform their duties. The act also defines the jurisdiction of each district highway commissioner, and lists the duties and responsibilities to be carried out by the commissioners.
