British North American Legislative Database, 1758-1867

This act grants various sums of money to repair roads throughout the province, specifying the roads as well as the sums of money to be granted to repair or build each. It names the individuals to receive each sum, how each sum is to be spent, who is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of roads, and punishments for those who should refuse to maintain roads or purposely damage public roads.
