  • Description
This act compels the attendance of the province's justices of the peace at every court of general quarter sessions. This attendance will be tracked by court clerks, including whether or not justices left before the end of the day's business. The lists of magistrates who neglect their duties are to be sent to the Chief Justice in Halifax, and face the forfeiture of their office.
