DescriptionThis Act prohibits shops, warehouses, and other tradesmen or labourers from working or conducting business, either themselves or by a servant, on Sundays. The sale of milk and fresh fish is to be allowed before nine in the morning and after five in the afternoon. Fines for those found to defy the terms of this Act are outlined. This Act is to remain in force for two years.
