DescriptionThis Act makes adds an addition two pence per gallon excise to that already established under the 1768 Act, "An Act to amend, render more effectual, and reduce into one Act, the several Laws made by the General-Assembly of this Province, relating to the Duty of Excise on Rum, and other distilled Spirituous Liquors." This Act is to remain in for until July, 1771.
