    This act allows for the incorporation of a company which will have as its goal the construction of a canal on the Shubenacadie River to allow for easier navigation to and from Halifax Harbour and Minas Basin. The members of the corporation are not herein named or specified, rather the act sets out how the corporation is to be regulated and established, and makes provisions for its establishment once a sufficient number of potential members have been found.
