  • Description
    An amendment to an act first passed in 1780, which granted a sum of money for the erection of a public school in Halifax, and established various regulations concerning the running of said school. The amendment concerns the number of boys to be sent to the school without having to pay tuition, the appointment of commissioners, and the dismissal of school masters or ushers who refuse to follow the regulations as set out by the commissioners.
