    This Act makes provision for the sale of certain public properties, including the orphan house, in order to fund the construction of a new building to house the assembly, council, and courts in Halifax as well as a new jail. Instructions for the sale of these properties and the construction of the new buildings are outlined, including allowable costs and the duties of commissioners to be appointed.
