  • Description
    This Act amends former Acts relating to the duty on licenses for public houses to lessen the duty required in places outside of Halifax for the better encouragement for persons to take out licenses there. The Act also allows persons who keep ferries to keep public houses without paying the duty. The several Acts relating to these duties are to remain in force until 1780.
