DescriptionThis Act imposes duties on lumber, sugar loaf, and bricks to supplement the duties imposed on beer, wine, rum, and other spirituous liquors, which were found insufficient for the purposes for which they were intended. The rates of duty set on these goods are listed. This Act is to remain in force for two years.
