This Act grants Pierre Chasseur a sum not exceeding four hundred pounds to form and keep his Museum of Natural History open to the public, in addition to the provisions made under the 1829 Act, “An Act to appropriate a certain sum of money for the encouragement of Pierre Chasseur in forming a Collection of subjects of the Natural History of the Canadas.”
