    This Ordinance provides a sum of five thousand five hundred and eighty-three pounds, nineteen shillings and ten pence, sterling and a sum of eighteen thousand one hundred and thirty-six pounds, seventeen shillings and six pence sterling to make good on sums expended by the Civil Government between March and October of 1838.
